Carroll Ann Friedmann has been studying yoga and astrology since 2000. She is an ERYT-500 and runs Ashtanga Yoga Charlottesville and the Ivy Yoga School. She has been trained in birth charts, transits, and synastry by the Forrest School of Evolutionary Astrology (FCEA). She is the author of Practicing the Yoga Sutras, published in 2024 by Integral Yoga Press. She has graduate degrees in religion from Princeton Theological Seminary and the University of Virginia. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Birth Chart Reading

$175

2-hour session. In this reading, I will describe your soul’s specific karmic situation in this lifetime, including its challenges and its deepest desires.

Then we will turn to the personality - defined by your natal Sun, Moon and Ascendant - and examine each in turn, including the aspects they make to other parts of your personality.

Finally, we will look at an assortment of other details that make you unique, emphasizing the gifts and challenges your birth chart reveals.

Transits Reading

$100

60-minute session. You must have had a birth chart reading with Carroll Ann prior to a transits reading.

In this reading, I will show you how the current position of planets is impacting you personally and how you can respond positively to these influences.

We can look ahead 6-12 months to prepare for major astrological events or we can focus the reading on one area of your life, i.e. relationship, money, education, health, career.

Relationship Reading

$150

90-minute session. Both members of the relationship must have had a prior birth-chart reading with Carroll Ann. If only one member has, the cost is $250.

In this reading, we will examine each chart individually, the impact of each chart on the other, and the composite chart created by the relationship. An extraordinary aid to building healthy and strong relationships.

The full consent of both people is required for the reading, but they do not both have to be present.
